Is the app really free?
Yes, Player has a permanently free version. You record up to 20 opponents and 100 matches for free — including videos, basic statistics and the “Record & form” analysis. Player Pro is €4.90 per month or €39 per year.
Do I need internet to use Player?
No. Player is offline-first: your matches, opponents and videos live locally on your device and are available even without reception in the hall. You only need a connection to download the app and for updates.
Where is my data stored?
With Player, your match data and videos stay on your device — we don't sell or share them; videos go into a dedicated folder, not your photo gallery. Since version 1.4 there is an account: the server holds nothing but your email, password hash and account ID, hosted in Frankfurt. We use no ad trackers.
Are my videos stored safely?
Yes. You record videos directly in Player; they stay local, separate from the system gallery. For a device change there is a full backup file — photos and videos sit as separate files on the device and you copy them over yourself.
Can I use my rating (TTR)?
You can store and display your rating in your profile and for opponents. Automatic sync with myTischtennis is in development; for now you keep the value up to date manually. Outside German-speaking countries, the rating label adapts to your association.
Do I have to download the app from the App Store or Google Play?
Player is available as a native app for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play.
Are there discounts for clubs or schools?
Team plans for clubs are in preparation. If you already need three or more licences today, drop us a line — we'll find a solution.

Yes: TT Playbook Coach, a digital tactic board that runs in the browser. Draw drills on a tablet, mirror them to the hall TV and send them to your players as a link.
